Your Input Needed to Name Metro-area Trail Network

Hey, FABB members, as you may recall, FABB is now part of the Capital Trails Coalition, a collaboration of public and private organizations, agencies, and citizen volunteers working to create a world-class network of multi-use trails that are equitably distributed throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan region. Such a network will transform public life by providing healthy, low-stress access to open space and reliable transportation for people of all ages and abilities.
The Coalition would like your feedback as it develops a unified identity for the existing and planned trail network in the Washington, DC region. The group has a few ideas that it would like to hear your thoughts on, and you'll have a chance to share your own at the end of this very quick survey (truly, it is very quick… two-minutes max).

Great Opportunity to Share Your Thoughts on Bicycling With FCDOT
FCDOT is seeking local residents’ perspectives on bicycling in Fairfax County and is offering two venues to share your ideas.
Option 1 is a 60-minute focus group on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. The focus group will start at 6:30 pm at the Mason District Governmental Center in Annandale. Not only do you get to provide input into the county’s planning for biking improvements, there will be refreshments and opportunities to win a free Visa gift card for participating. Option 2 is open to everyone who is unable to attend the focus group but who is interested in participating via the internet. All you have to do is go to this survey and answer 18 questions. Some respondents will be selected to receive a $10 Visa gift card.
FABB members and other interested citizens are encouraged to use one of these two options to help FCDOT plan for the best way to implement the Bicycle Master Plan and to balance efforts on adding infrastructure with education, encouragement, and enforcement activities.
