Public forum on I-66 March 25

FABB is co-sponsoring a public forum on the I-66 Project Outside the Beltway,  I-66 & Our Neighborhoods on Wednesday, March 25 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. (registration begins 6:30). The meeting will be held at Oakton High School cafeteria, 2900 Sutton Road, Vienna. From the I-66 forum flyer:



What are VDOT’s plans for I-66 outside the Beltway? We want to know your concerns on:
  • Impacts on homes and neighborhoods
  • Biking and walking access
  • Transit-oriented transportation alternatives
  • Impacts on parks, streams & habitats
  • Trafic, congestion & pollution
Join us for a brief panel discussion, then an extended open forum Q&A.
  • Introductory remarks by Providence District Supervisor Linda Smyth 
  • Moderated by Stewart Schwartz, Coalition for Smarter Growth 
  • Speakers from Virginia Department of Transportation, Fairfax County Department of Transportation, and Transportation Advisory Commission
  • Closing comments by Tania Hossain, Providence District Council
