Bicycle access to Herndon Metrorail stations - Update 15 Jan
Phase II of the Silver Line will include two rail stations in Herndon. The two stations are Herndon, site of the Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride lot, and Innovation Center near the Dulles Toll Road/Route 28 intersection. The Herndon Metrorail Stations Access Management Study (HMSAMS) is looking at bicycle and pedestrian access to these stations. You can sign up for updates on the study at the project website. The Herndon Metrorail Stations Access Management Study (HMSAMS) is a collaborative effort, led by the Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT), to develop a plan for pedestrian and bicycle facility improvements designed to improve access to and around the future Herndon and Innovation Center Metrorail Stations, located in Herndon, VA.
