Bikenetic Grand Opening today
We were able to stop by
Bikenetic, the new Falls Church bike shop, for their Grand Opening today. The shop is located at 922 West Broad Street (Route 7) just east of West St, not far from where the W&OD Trail crosses Route 7. While close to the trail, it's a little tricky getting to the shop by bike. Check the map before heading out. It's adjacent to a very nice restaurant, Panjshir, which formerly had a sister restaurant in Vienna, Panjshir II.
The shop has lots of floor space, with a long, narrow showroom, a seating area with a wide screen TV, and some comfortable chairs to use while you wait for your bike.
There is a large full-service area adjacent to a side entrance, with a dedicated service check-in counter. They sell new and used bikes from Kona, Bianchi and Jamis.
The owner, Jan Feuchtner, was formerly co-owner of Oasis Bike Works. We wish Jan well in this new endeavor. It's always good for the bike community to have another locally-owned bike shop in the area.
