Ribbon-cutting for Lake Fairfax Park Pump Track on Saturday
The new pump track at Lake Fairfax being built by Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts (MORE) will open on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10am. From the pump track Facebook page:
Have you got your pump track/dirt jump bike ready? You better get to it! Construction is happening VERY soon! Thanks to the continued generosity of The Bike Lane and Capital 'Cross Classic along with a huge grant from People for Bikes, we've secured the majority of the funds we need to get this thing built right. Within the next week or two we'll get the dates nailed down and make plans for the official opening. Keep an eye on this page for updates and upcoming events.
