Faces of Fairfax - Christopher Anello
On Bike to Work Day 2015 Christopher Anello talked to FABB about his biking habits and views.
Christopher said he mostly rides from his home in Fairfax City to the Burke Centre Virginia Railway Express station as part of his daily commute. He travels by bike to avoid driving (and to avoid adding to the region’s hydrocarbon pollution) but also because he finds his rides a fun way to start and end his workday.
Asked what he most likes about riding, Christopher said he enjoys the exercise, is glad to help protect the environment, and appreciates that his bike commute is relatively fast in comparison to driving on the region’s clogged highways. He would like to see more bike lanes in Fairfax County to make riding less dangerous.
