Bicycle access to Herndon Metrorail stations - Update 15 Jan

Phase II of the Silver Line will include two rail stations in Herndon. The two stations are Herndon, site of the Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride lot, and Innovation Center near the Dulles Toll Road/Route 28 intersection. The Herndon Metrorail Stations Access Management Study (HMSAMS) is looking at bicycle and pedestrian access to these stations. The Herndon Metrorail Stations Access Management Study (HMSAMS) is a collaborative effort, led by the Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT), to develop a plan for pedestrian and bicycle facility improvements designed to improve access to and around the future Herndon and Innovation Center Metrorail Stations, located in Herndon, VA.
