Riding responsibly

Being part of a bicycle advocacy group, arguing for better conditions for bicyclists on the road, I feel obligated to obey the rules. We all should but we don't always stop for stop signs and red lights, especially when riding in a group. It's safer, and it's the law that cyclists obey all traffic regulations.

WABA is asking cyclists to resolve in the coming year to ride responsibly. If you do so already, then it's an easy resolution. Ideally all road users would sign the petition to use our roadways responsibly. Most of us are both cyclists and motorists and we all need to act responsibly regardless of our vehicle.

See the WABA blog entry.
