Car-Free Diet Skeptic sells his car

We reported on the Car-Free Diet Skeptics Challenge a while back (in Arlington of course). The Challenge is sponsored by Arlington County Commuter Services. One of the skeptics, Ross, said he would sell his car as part of the challenge and sure enough, yesterday he made good on his promise and sold his late model car, appropriately enough in Fairfax County.

The skeptics are discovering many of the ways to get around Northern Virginia without cars. It takes some planning and a little more time, but it's worth the effort. The skeptics have done a good job of sharing their experiences on their blog. Thanks guys for setting an example for the rest of us. Shouldn't we all be thinking twice about getting in our cars alone, feeding our oil addiction while the Gulf fills with oil?
