Promoting Bicycling on Federal Lands
The Federal Highway Administration recently published the Guide To Promoting Bicycling On Federal Lands. There's lots of good information in the guide, including all the benefits of promoting bicycling on Federal lands. There's a section containing many examples of existing bicycle facilities and programs, including a discussion of the use of bicycles by park staff on the National Mall. Appendix F contains a good list of bicycle facility funding sources.
